West Smithfield Elementary School - Mrs. Wiggins 2nd Grade class

Smithfield, NC

Located in Smithfield, NC, West Smithfield Elementary School is considered a high poverty school and most of Mrs. Wiggins students being ELL learners. According to Mrs. Wiggins second grade class, if you ask what their favorite "subject" is they will most likely respond with "recess!!".

Because of this, sporting goods and toys to play with during recess were in short supply.

Our donation helped contribute towards the purchase new kickballs, a basketball, jump ropes, frisbee rings, cones, footballs, toss rings, ball scoops, and a ball pump!

We were thrilled to help out Mrs. Wiggins and the kids in her class. We thoroughly enjoyed reading the hand written thank you cards we received in the mail from the students!

“HOORAY x 4!!!! Heartfelt thanks to Benjamin & Jason from SchedulePop from Raleigh, NC for supporting my students today!!! This project has been FULLY funded!!!! I can't WAIT to tell my students when we return from Holiday break!!!!!”

With gratitude,

Mrs. Wiggins

J W Seabrook Elementary School - Ms. Dandoy’s second grade class

Fayetteville, NC

Located in Fayetteville, NC, J W Seabrook Elementary School is considered a high poverty school with more than half of the students coming from low income households. The school is near a large military base and as a result, serve children of active duty and retired military.

Ms. Dandoy’s hope was to expand their collection of mentor texts to use in small and whole group lessons. These books will also be available for the students to access in our classroom library.

SchedulePop’s donation went towards the purchase of new books for their students! We couldn’t be happier to be able to contribute towards books to educate our future leaders.

With gratitude,

Ms. Dandoy

Mary McArthur Elementary School - Ms. Spikes First grade class

Fayetteville, NC

Mary McArthur Elementary School is located in Fayetteville, NC near a large military base and as a result, serve children of active duty and retired military.

Ms. Spikes class wants to utilize a children’s coding software called Code Monkey. It helps build problem-solving skills, logic, and creativity. By starting coding in first grade, my students will have a strong background for success in any 21st century career path. We hope her class enjoys their new software and that maybe one day they can help code for us!
